Annual Events

First Baptist Church of Greenville is proud to hold several different events throughout the year. Giving friends, new and old alike, a chance to get out and fellowship with one another. The following are a list of our exciting programs. Do not miss out on the fun and laughs shared at these events. Not only will you expereince God's blessing but you will find yourself having a great time with smiling faces all around.

Two musicals each year:

1. A children's musical in May
2. An adult Christmas musical in December

Group outings:

1. Spring Break Church-side Ski trip in March
2. Summer StudentLife Camp
3. Summer Pre-teen camp
4. Annual Birthday Party in April

Bookings

Bookings

All bookings of events must go through the church office. The Family Life Center can be used by outside organizations based upon availability and approval. Please call as far in advance as possible. Some fees will apply.

Weddings

Weddings are special events scheduled through the church office. First Baptist Church has been blessed with both an Auditorium that will seat 500+ attendees and a Chapel which can hold an intimate group of 150 or less. The Auditorium and Chapel are available for weddings based upon availability and approval. Please call the church office for more details. Some fees will apply.

Funerals

Funerals are sad events in our lives. Death separates us from our loved ones. Our mission as a church is to minister to the family members of the deceased. The Auditorium and Chapel are available for funerals upon request and availability. Please have your Funeral Director contact the church office for further information. Some fees may apply.

Baptism

Believers baptism is a physical act of obedience to a spiritual response in Jesus Christ. Baptism does not save. It is a local church ordinance providing a picture to the community of a persons commitment to Jesus Christ.
