Historical Drift is written to warn pastors and laymen about the dangers of a church losing their purpose and direction. A ship without a navigation system will never arrive at their destination. Cook warns how a church will begin with a man, grow into a movement, transform into a machine and eventually become a monument. Too often, churches forget they are the body of Christ to do the work of Christ in a world without Christ.
